A thunderstorm hit the city last night, which for most meant an evening spent indoors until the downpour ended. However, a rainy Edinburgh is an empty Edinburgh and I find it is the best time to explore the city.
It has been unusually sunny these past few months, so I took the opportunity yesterday to document what the city is actually like most of the year. I also wanted to prove that Scottish rain is by no means a terrible thing - for the most part! It can be quiet, relaxing and can make even the capital seem serene for a few hours.
Please enjoy my little montage of a rainy Edinburgh!
